Error while unlocking the full version of UrduKit®
Q. I am having error while unlocking the full version of UrduKit®. What to do?
Symptoms: On some machines error is displayed as:
- Unable to write to Settings.INI
- while on others no error is displayed but the UrduKit® keeps asking the unlock code
Solution
Please proceed as follows to resolve the situation. This is a simple permission error on that machine. It seems that you are missing administrator permissions on that computer/folder. It stops the software to write the code into the file and software asks for code again in next loading. It can be solved in several ways. Solution #2 seems more easy.
Solution #1
If you can login as an administrator then you can solve this issue. If you don’t know how to login as administrator kindly ask from the person who installed windows on your computer. They might help.
Solution #2
Uninstall UrduKit® and when re-installing instead of choosing folders like C:\program files (x86)\UrduKit or C:\program files\UrduKit choose a different installation directory like C:\UrduKit. Now if you enter code it can save it as writing to other folders is possible without admin permission.

Install it on a different PC/Laptop with admin rights.
